Random Acts of Mis-fashion

Spotted today: Two (2) pairs of Uggs on two (2) different women on Tremont Street. One near Garden of Eden and one near northwest corner of Tremont and Dartmouth. This despite warnings that Uggs were in fact over on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy and both the British and American versions of What Not to Wear at least a year ago. Why is it that a) Boston has a disproportionate number of make-over participants on WNTW and b) the make-over particpants from Boston stand out for their outrageous hideousity?!! Just a thought.

In New York, the first nip in the air brings with it the pleasant "thwump" of a Chanel tweed jacket being buttoned. In Los Angeles, the sexy "whoosh" of a long-sleeved Cavalli blouse. In Boston, its the "whoosh" of unwashed polarfleece and the "thwump" of one's feet going into a pair of Uggs. Uggh.
