Peach of a Neighbor....

Guess which ultra-pretentious South End restaurant-cum-high-end-produce-shop has been allegedly unloading deliveries by having their delivery people rest crates on the hoods and trunks of parked cars by day? I'm not mentioning any names, but if you have one of those plum parking spaces near the corner of Tremont and Waltham Streets, you'd better check for scratches.

Its bad enough that those of us living in the neighborhood have to deal with maniacal valet parkers double and triple parking at that intersection on weekends. Its even worse that we are subjected to all sorts of visual insults when we have to witness the Uggh-clad B.U. students stepping out of those cars to dine there. Now these yuppie purveyors of all things pretentious (ooooh, you have heirloom tomatoes!!) are really showing what great neighbors they are. They get the rotten heirloom tomato award.

You think that valet situation is bad, wait until the Penny Savings bank opens not one but two 4000 square foot bistros with valet parking at the corner of Union Park and Washington. Think Mistral at the corner of Washington and Union Park but without a proper valet zone and yellow curb in front. And the deliveries all day blocking Union Park... what fun.
